Pedestrian hit near Bonanza and Nellis
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A pedestrian was hit by a small sedan near Bonanza and Nellis at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the man was transported to University Medical Center Trauma with severe head injuries. However, he is expected to recover.
The pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk, even though there is one at the corner of Bonanza and Nellis just a few feet away.
Police said the victim is in his 30s to early 40s.
The driver stayed at the scene.
Police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
