Congresswoman talks about Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Congresswoman Dina Titus was at the Rape Crisis Center on Wednesday to let everyone know that more needs to be done to prevent violent assaults and sexual attacks.
The goal of this year's campaign is to focus on healthy sexuality and preventing the sexual abuse of children.
Titus says there dozens of programs to help.
The center is also celebrating the recently re-authorized Violence Against Women Act.
