Equipment stolen from Salvation Army office
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Equipment was stolen from the Salvation Army Administration Building early Monday morning.
The resulting replacements and repairs will cost more than $19,000, according to a spokesperson for the Salvation Army.
Thieves covered security cameras and disabled the electric gate to gain entry to the building, located on Palomino Lane near Charleston and Rancho.
They stole two HVAC units, damaged two others, and stole other maintenance equipment.
Authorities believe thieves stole those items for their copper.
The Salvation Army is asking for donations to help ease the financial burden of the burglary. Anyone wishing to donate can call 702-870-4430 or visit their website.
