Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Strip performer Criss Angel is offering a $5,000 reward to for anyone that finds his stolen dog.

Angel's teacup Yorkshire terrier was one of the dogs stolen from Prince & Princess Puppies & Boutique, a grooming business on South Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas.

The puppy was given to him recently after the death of his beloved dog Dini, who passed away on Nov. 6, 2012.

Angel left the puppy in the care of Prince & Princess to take a week-long vacation in Mexico.

Angel is an advocate for pet adoption and has two rescued German Shepherds and a cat named Hammie.

The magician stars in Cirque du Soleil's Believe tour at the Luxor hotel and casino.

After the dogs were stolen, Angel posted about the theft on Twitter.

"Thanx all for your kind thoughts about the @adorablepups," he Tweeted on Tuesday. "IF U KNOW SOMETHING CALL LV Metro Police 702 828-3573 lets catch these losers RT."

The theft of the dogs may be related to four birds stolen from Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, whose co-owners and family members are the stars of the Animal Planet show "Tanked."

In addition, Reptiles-N-Reefs says that someone also broke into their store in Henderson before the other thefts. However, nothing was stolen from that store.

Anyone with information on the dog or any of the three others stolen from Prince & Princess is urged to call Las Vegas police or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
