Detectives release identity of woman found dead in alley

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Police are asking for the public's help investigating the death of a local woman.

On Nov. 8, around 7:30 p.m., police were notified of a possible deceased person lying in an alley, near the intersection of 10th Street and Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas.

When officers arrived, they found the body of a deceased woman and called homicide detectives to the scene.

The woman has now been identified as 50-year-old Christine Ray of Las Vegas.

Her last known address was in the 6100 block of Bryce Canyon Avenue.

Ray also used the names: Carla Pope, Christine Wright and Christine Kay Farias.

Police have released a prior booking photograph of Ray.

The investigation into her death is ongoing.
