Accused bully faces criminal charges after filmed attack

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County School District has disciplined the middle school students involved in a viral bullying video.

The school district took action quickly against the students involved.

The incident happened Friday at a bus stop near Faiss Middle School.

You can see one student take down her classmate by her hair, then kick her in the ankle.

The school district said the alleged bully has been cited for battery and conspiracy to commit battery. She will have to appear in court.

But she's not the only student in trouble. The school said the students who filmed and posted the bullying video were also disciplined, but we don't know the extent of their punishment.

The school district says any student who films bullying or fighting should turn the video over to police or a teacher, not upload it online.

The video is just one of a series of bullying videos posted online in recent weeks.
