(KTNV) -- Former Penn State Assistant Coach Jerry Sandusky has been sentenced 30 to 60 years in prison.
68-year-old Sandusky was convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years even though he denies that he ever did anything inappropriate.
The former coach released an audio statement last night and spoke again in court today. He maintained his innocence in both statements and vowed to continue to fight.
Some of Sandusky's victimes were also in court during the sentencing and delivered victim impact statements.
Sandusky was sentenced by Philadelphia Judge John Cleland. Sandusky could have been sentenced as little as 10 years but Cleland chose to give Sandusky a sentence that would put him in prison the rest of his life.
The earliest he will be eligible for parole is in 30 years. He will be 98 at that time.
