Fire causes $275K in damage at Paradise Spa
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A fire damaged units at the Paradise Spa apartments on South Las Vegas Boulevard near Serene Avenue on Friday afternoon.
The Clark County Fire Department was called to the scene at about 4:20 p.m., where smoke could be seen emanating from the roof of the complex.
A county spokesperson said seven units were impacted. The cost of the damage is estimated at $275,000.
No injuries were reported.
The displaced residence are being housed in other units at the complex. The Red Cross is also helping provide necessities to the victims.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue assisted in fighting the 2-alarm fire.
Friday's fire is the latest of many that have damaged Paradise Spa, leading to previous investigations into the property's HOA. There was no immediate indication that this fire is in any way related.
The most recent blaze struck in March of this year. Before that, fires damaged units at the property in January 2010 and September of 2009.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
