Prelim hearing delayed for suspect in North Las Vegas double homicide
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A judge delayed the preliminary hearing this morning for Ivonne Cabrera, one of the two suspects in the quadruple shooting and double homicide on April 26 in North Las Vegas.
The hearing has been moved to July 17, 2012.
North Las Vegas Police received calls around 6 a.m. April 26 reporting a shooting in the 2000 block of Webster Street.
Upon arrival, officers found four victims. Two males were pronounced dead at the scene and two females were transported to University Medical Center.
31-year-old Ivonne Cabrera was arrested April 27. She was booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center on several charges including two counts of murder with a deadly weapon.
Police are still searching for a man named Jose Alejandro Gonzales who is also known as"Smokey." They believe he was also involved in the shooting.
