Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval made an unprecedented visit to CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Wednesday.

Gov. Sandoval said he wanted to deliver an important message in person; that he appreciates the millions of dollars Las Vegas' largest trade show brings in every year, and he wants leaders in technology to relocate to Nevada, permanently.

"Of course Las Vegas is a great place to visit and to have this show," Sandoval told Action News. "But at the same time, if there are relocation plans, expansion plans, we happen to have the largest data center on the planet...We're one of the most well-connected cities in the world. We have great people here. We have a great university. This is a place that people can raise their familiies and have a great quality of life."
CES brings in about $150 million to Nevada each year and about 150,000 visitors.  Attendance this year is expected to be closer to 160,000.
