Home invasion suspects linked to a young mom's murder
Police say two men already in jail for a deadly home invasion are suspects in the murder of a young mom and casino waitress.
21 year old Prisma Contreras' body was found dumped in a desert area of Boulder City on January 15th. The waitress and mother of a four year old was last seen in the parking lot of Hooters Casino where she worked.
On February 6th police arrested 38 year old Gregory Hover and 18 year old Richard Freeman in connection with a deadly home invasion in the northwest part of the valley that left a man dead and his wife wounded.
According to Metro Captain Mike Montandon at Metro, "An investigation into this case led to the discovery that our same suspect, Mr. Hover, along with his associate Mr. Freeman, were involved in the abduction, murder and then subsequently dumping and burning of a body of a female victim in Boulder City."
Police aren't saying how they linked Contreras' murder to Hover and Freeman, but both men already face numerous murder, burglary and robbery charges in connection with the Romero case. They're scheduled to appear in court on February 26th.
