Country-pop singer Kelly Clarkson and fiancé Brandon Blackstock could be getting hitched this weekend! People magazine reports that a marriage license was filed in Sumner County, just north of Nashville, on Tuesday under the names Kelly Brielle Clarkson and Narvel Brandon Blackstock. The license is good for 30 days. Kelly also recently told Access Hollywood that she was getting married, "Like, really soon."
The couple dated for a year before Blackstock, whose stepmother is country legend Reba McEntire, proposed last December. Earlier this year, the two admitted they had ditched the idea of a backyard barbecue with 200 invited guests and had decided to elope instead. They sent out an engagement photo to the guests saying, "Thank you so much, but it's just going to be me and Brandon and his two kids and the minister."
Although plans have scaled back for a big wedding, the singer hasn't stopped looking ahead to her next project, telling Access Hollywood, "I already told him that when we're past the wedding, I want a baby."
Honeymoon plans are unknown at this point but Kelly will be in Las Vegas Oct. 30 to perform at the Venetian for her upcoming holiday special. One day earlier, Oct. 29, her first Christmas album, "Wrapped in Red," will be released.
