While Brantley Gilbert has been getting the thumbs-up from country fans for his latest hit, "Bottoms Up," the singer has been using that same signal to train his adorable 3-month-old puppy named Sylo.
Brantley recently revealed that Sylo is somewhat deaf, so he needed to find a dog trainer who could teach him to use hand signals. Naturally, a thumbs-up means Sylo has obeyed a command and earns a treat -- and there's no skimping on treats without potentially painful consequences.
"Just don’t give him a thumbs-up without giving him enough food because he will bite the hell out ya," says Brantley (quote via Country Weekly).
While we now know a little bit more about him, one thing we don't know is why Brantley calls his pup Sylo.
"I can’t tell you that," he explains. "It's just ... personal."
Brantley's Let It Ride tour with Thomas Rhett and Eric Paslay kicks off March 27. See a list of tour dates and learn more about VIP tour packages here.
