Ashley Monroe of Pistol Annies married Chicago White Sox pitcher John Danks at a sunset ceremony Thursday evening at Blackberry Farm, the same bucolic luxury resort in Tennessee's Smoky Mountains where Kelly Clarkson was married just days ago.

"I married my best friend," says Ashley (quote via People), who met her future husband in 2011 trough a mutual friend after a show in Chicago. "He has such a good heart."

The singer arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage wearing a custom-made Haute Hippie gown while her groom wore Armani. "It was magical," she says.

Blake Shelton officiated the nuptials and fellow Annie, Miranda Lambert, served as maid of honor. "They're my dearest friends," she says of Mr. and Mrs. Shelton, adding, "We wanted someone with personality to marry us!"

Miranda, dubbed "Plannie Annie" by the new bride, did everything from organizing the schedule to hand-making some of the wedding decor. "[She] was the one who cared about all the details!" says Ashley.

Exclusive wedding photos and details of the couple's big day will be featured in the next issue of People Country, on newsstands beginning Nov. 15.

Ashley is currently on tour with Hunter Hayes. Her solo album, "Like a Rose," is out now.
