Are you a student enrolled in college. Are you looking for college credit and experience in television? Then you have come to the right place!

Get information on becoming an intern with Channel 13 Action News. We have positions in the following departments:

The Morning Blend and Promotions
Intern will assist producer with news talk show including booking/organizing guests, story ideas, writing, web updates and other job functions as needed. Also, learn skills in producing, promotions, editing, community outreach and event coordination. Contact Julie Pyle at Action News is now accepting applications. KTNV Interactive Web Department, one of the region's top local websites, is looking for students with a passion for interactive and digital platforms. Interactive digital interns will learn the mechanics behind the station's website and social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter, as well as how the newsroom works. Some responsibilities will include producing content for the KTNV website and mobile app including writing stories and putting together slideshows, posting content on Facebook and Twitter, assisting web editors with daily assignments and other job functions as needed. All candidates must be a student, currently enrolled at a recognized college or trade school, and internship must count towards your degree (for college credit). Hours are flexible, but you must be able to work at least 12 hours weekly unless otherwise specified. These positions are all unpaid.
