Creighton Volleyball Picked To Finish Fourth
Omaha, NE - The Creighton Bluejays volleyball team looks to improve upon last year's fourth place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are projected to once again finish in fourth place, but their players and coaches think they can do much better.
Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth hopes to continue her trend of disproving the preseason prognosticators. In eight of her nine seasons as head coach the Jays have met or exceeded the preseason predictions. She told us today that this team excites her more than any team she's coached in awhile.
The Jays return five starters from last year's squad. And one of those starters is senior, Megan Bober. Bober earned a spot on the MVC's preseason all-conference team. And she led the nation in triple-doubles last season with nine.
