OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Police say a thief returned to the same Omaha house twice while the homeowner was away on vacation and made off with multiple guns.
Investigators were first called to the home on Kansas Avenue, near 24th Street on Monday, July 14, because someone kicked in the front door.
Police say the home’s alarm scared off the thief that time and a relative of the homeowner took care of securing the house.
However, someone later smashed a window and made off with rifles, shotguns and handguns, according to the Omaha Police Department.
Investigators hope someone will recognize the suspect in images captured by the home’s surveillance cameras.
Anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP.
