Myrtle Creek, OR - Authorities say a 3-year-old boy was watching cartoons and wearing only a diaper when an officer found him.
This was after they say he knocked a Jeep out of gear Tuesday evening. The SUV rolled down the street, through an intersection and into a house. The house had minor damage.
According to KVAL, police had first contact with the boy ten hours earlier when the officer noticed the kid sitting unattended in the black Jeep Wrangler.
The boy told the officer his parents weren't home but took him to a relative who was sleeping. The officer told the relative the boy had the keys in the Jeep and the vehicle was not secure. Despite that warning, the boy was able to get back into the Jeep that night and crash it.
After he hit the home, police cited the relative, 22-year-old Brennan Pennington, for failing to supervise a child.
