Lincoln Student Admits to Bringing Pot Cookies to Middle School
Lincoln, NE - School officials notified the Lincoln Police Department after an Irving Middle School student admitted to bringing cookies laced with marijuana to school today.
The school says three other students ate some of the cookies knowing they had marijuana in them. Apparently, they then handed them out to five other students.
The kids went to the health office, and school officials determined they were fine. The school contacted the families of all the students involved and sent a letter home to all Irving Middle School parents.
As part of that statement, Irving Principal Dr. Susette Taylor said they have asked the police department to assist us with this investigation.
