Omaha - The family of December Omaha murder victim Janee Haden is frustrated by what happened in court this week.

A judge fined Sydni Powe $1000 after she pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor.  The Judge found her guilty of stealing Haden's debit card and using it after somebody killed Haden outside the Passion Lounge.   Haden's mother Amy Haden said, "She was victimized in the worst way.  Her life was taken and she was stolen from. "   Haden's sister Makayla Walker added, " Sydni wrote me the next day and said I saw your sister in the club last night and I told her her outfit was pretty.  I just want to send my condolences to you. "   Police believe Powe used the card at a convenience store near the nightclub, shortly after the murder.  The victim's family also told us she bought breakfast later that morning at a restaurant.

The mother and sister both say the account of the debit card had money in it that Janee was going to use to buy her young son Christmas presents.  The murder case remains unsolved and the family says the 3-year-old boy often asks the question, "Why doesn't Mommy come home. "
