2 Dead and 2 Critically Injured After Four Shootings in South Omaha
Omaha, NE - Breaking news; Saturday afternoon as Omaha police investigate a string of shootings in South Omaha.
KMTV Action 3 News has confirmed two people are dead and two are critically injured.
Omaha police say it all started at 3104 Hascall Street just after 2 PM.
Officers rushed to that location for the first shooting. Minutes later, another shooting occurred at 3901 S. 33rd Street. Another 'shots fired' call was reported after that, at 3309 E Street. The spree ended at Dahlman Avenue and F Street.
A witness followed the shooter from the E Street scene, to Dahlman Ave and waited for police to arrive.
An OPD officer tried to stop the suspect, when gunfire was exchanged. The suspect was taken to Creighton where he later died.
Police have not confirmed if all four shootings are connected.
Two people died, including the shooter, and two more are critically injured.
