By Julie Hawkins. CREATED Apr 9, 2013

North Bend, NE - The National Weather Service is sending someone out to North Bend today to survey the damage following this morning's storms.

There is a lot of damage in the area, about 15 minutes west of Fremont.

A Union Pacific train derailed around 5:30 this morning.

No word yet if the high winds are to blame for knocking the train off the tracks, but the winds at the time were up to 60 miles per hour.

There are also reports of damage at a mobile home park near those train tracks.
