If it seemed like everywhere you looked on television over the past few months you saw two grown men in fox onesies making animal noises, blame YouTube.

Thanks to the popularity of their viral video, "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)," Norwegian duo Ylvis was a regular guest on American television shows ranging from "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" to "Dancing With the Stars" this fall. Now comes word that the bizarre hit tops YouTube's list of top trending videos of 2013. It has more than 280 million views to date.
Also making the list, Billboard reports, are a military version of "Harlem Shake," a Chatroulette take on Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and Jean-Claude Van Damme's "Epic Splits" for Volvo.
Taking the top five spots on YouTube's separate list of top 25 trending music videos are Psy ("Gentlemen"), Cyrus ("Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop"), Katy Perry ("Roar") and P!nk ("Just Give Me A Reason").
