A center of low pressure accompanied by cool and humid air will swing through the region on Saturday bringing cool temperatures, cloudy skies, and scattered showers. High temperatures in the Treasure Valley will only reach the mid 60s on Saturday while mountain communities will see highs ranging from the low 50s to the low 60s depending on elevation. Rain showers will be scattered across the region, but there could be some isolated thunderstorms as well in the afternoon and evening. By Sunday, with the low pressure moving away, temperatures will rebound into the upper 60s and low 70s across the Treasure Valley with mostly sunny skies overhead.

Labor Day will be warmer still, with Treasure Valley highs back into the mid 70s and sunny skies overhead. By Tuesday, Treasure Valley highs should be back into the upper 70s with continued sunny skies.

Warmth will continue to build across the region on Wednesday through Friday. Skies will remain sunny, with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
