Coolest Morning in Fifteen Years!

Temperatures on Monday only touched 75 degrees in Boise which is more like late September weather. It was rainy and chilly in the central mountains around Stanley where temperatures only hit the 50s.

Monday night the temperature will drop into the 40s for the first time in Boise since 2000! No frost in the Treasure Valley but frost is likely in some place in the Boise and West Central Mountains.

Don't expect this cool weather to last long. After a spectacular Tuesday with sunshine, light wind and a high near 80 expect temperatures to soar to near 100 by Friday and Saturday.
