Closing Out July on a Hot Note

Typical late July heat has overspread the the area and we can expect it to get even hotter today as temperatures touch the century mark across much of the valley.

The bright sunshine will continue through Friday then over the weekend some high clouds will approach late Saturday while on Sunday more clouds will dim that hot sun from time to time. I don't expect any storms in the valley this weekend but early next week we could see a few more storms popping up.

If you are headed to the Mountain Home Music Festival keep in mind that the festival site is at 5500 feet up on the Camas Prairie where overnight lows are rather cool. I expect near 50 on Friday morning warming to to the upper 50s by Sunday morning. Meanwhile afternoon temperatures will warm to the mid to upper 80s with bright sunshine on Friday, a mostly sunny sky on Saturday and a mix of clouds and sun on Sunday. As of right now I do not expect any storms to affect the venue. Stay tuned...
