One More Warm Day

Today is the last warm day before this front passes through, dropping our temperatures significantly. You can expect dry and warm conditions today, with mostly sunny skies early on and a few more clouds by the afternoon. The Treasure Valley and Magic Valley will see highs in the mid to upper 80s while the mountains stay in the low to mid 70s.

Winds will pick up as the front passes through southwestern Idaho tomorrow afternoon and it brings sharply cooler temperatures in the low 70s for Boise with a slight chance of showers in the valley, increased chances in the mountains. The cool weather will stick around through the weekend. If you are headed to Albertsons Stadium Friday night for the Boise State game, the sun will set right around kick off and temperatures will drop into the mid 50s by the end of the game.

Over the weekend we will continue the cool weather with a chance of showerson Saturday and Sunday especially in the mountains. I will keep you posted on that threat as we get closer to the weekend.
