Cooler Weather Moves In

We can finally say goodbye to triple digit heat across the Treasure Valley. As a trough of low pressure pushes south out of Canada it will push the resilient ridge of high pressure responsible for all the heat further south, giving Idaho a break. Temperatures will still be hot though, with highs in the mid 90s through Thursday.

Conditions will be partly cloudy on Sunday, but by Monday we can expect clear skies. Sunny conditions will last through Wednesday, but isolated thunderstorms will return to the region on Thursday. Storms will be possible through Saturday. Another shot of cooler air will arrive on Friday knocking Treasure Valley high temperatures down into the upper 80s and low 90s.
