Kim Kardashian game expected to make $200 million
Is there anything that the Kardashians can't do?
The family already has a hugely successful reality television series on E! titled "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which led to the creation of spin-offs including "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami."
The family is also involved in the retail and fashion industries and has launched several clothing and jewelry collections and fragrances.
Now, Kim Kardashian, the most famous of the clan, has her very own app and it is expected to make a whole lot of money.
The free "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" game app was released June 25 and it is expected to reach a whopping $200 million in annual revenue, according to People magazine.
The game, which is available on both Apple and Android products, allows users to navigate Kim's posh Los Angeles lifestyle, attending parties, photo shoots and club openings.
According to iTunes Charts, it is currently the third most downloaded Apple game.
The download is free. It's creators are making money from in-app purchases. According to the Huffington Post, in-app purchases from the game have driven shares of creator Glu Mobile Inc. up 42 percent since its launch.
It's not known how much Kardashian will receive from the success of the game. She is not hurting for money though. Forbes reported in June than she made an estimated $28 million over the last 12 months.
