In nearly 140 years of baseball, the Chicago Cubs have rarely had a mascot.
The Chicago Cubs unveiled "Clark," a young bear cub named after the street legendary Wrigley Field is located.

The mascot was lampooned by many across the baseball Twitterverse.
If Cubs really needed a mascot the #Brewers could have lent them one of the Racing Sausages. Plenty to go around.— Tom (@Haudricourt) January 13, 2014
The #Cubs new mascot really should have been a clearly-drunk cartoon goat wearing a green turtleneck and headphones.— Chris Marrs (@iCMarrs) January 13, 2014
The last Cubs mascot was reportedly 98 years ago - a shorter drought than their 106 years without a world championship.
