Nampa man sentenced in court after five DUI's
A Nampa man has been sentenced in Canyon County by the Honorable Judge Molly J. Huskey for felony DUI with a persistent violator enhancement.
The sentence comes down after Judge Huskey noted that Jayson Hof has had five felony DUI convictions in Canyon County and seven lifetime DUI convictions.
Hof will serve 10 years fixed in prison followed by 30 years indeterminate for a total sentence of 40 years in prison.
“Mr. Hof has shown time and time again that he has no regard for the law when it comes to drunk driving,” said Prosecutor Bryan Taylor. “He’s a danger to our community, especially the other motorists on the road. I’m hopeful that he can use his time behind bars to find the help that he needs.”
