Boise man pleads guilty to possessing bombs
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 32-year-old Boise man has pleaded guilty to five felony charges including possession of bombs.
The Idaho Statesman reports that Joshua Finch made the plea Thursday as part of a deal that would put him in prison for at least 15 years.
Finch pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, possession of destructive devices or bombs, two counts of injury to a child and unlawful possession of a firearm
Authorities filed the charges after police went to a home in November after receiving a report Finch had held his girlfriend's parents in the house and told them he had guns, body armor and explosives and would kill police officers if they were called.
Authorities reduced a kidnapping charge to aggravated assault as part of the deal.
Sentencing is set for June 30.
