Boise Police issue 83 citations after multiple complaints of loud parties
A complaint from a neighbor of a loud party on the Boise Bench over the weekend resulted in 65 citations of underage drinking. In total, 83 citations were issued over the weekend involving loud parties.
“Many of our community members realize that alcohol and teens is dangerous and can be a deadly mix, “said Boise Police Alcohol Compliance Officer Jermaine Galloway. “As young people head back to school to prepare for their future, alcohol can destroy that future since we know teens are more likely to be involved in all types of accidents or other dangerous behavior when they’ve been drinking.” said Officer Galloway.
The following citations were issued by officers responding to loud party complaints throughout the city this past Friday and Saturday nights:
Minor in Consumption-73
Open Container of Alcohol-2
Fake ID Violation-1
Resisting and Obstructing-1
False Info to Police-1
