Dump Hunger raises 300,000 pounds of food for hungry Idahoans
Dump Hunger, a five-week, post-holiday food drive sponsored by Western States Equipment has announced they have raised 300,000 pounds of food – equal to four CAT 730 truckloads.
"Hunger doesn’t stop after the holidays and it plays no favorites when it comes to our communities,” said Western States President Tom Harris.
After a slow start, every community stepped up big to help Dump Hunger break records this year.
The campaign partnered Western States branches, local Albertsons stores and Wells Fargo locations across the Intermountain West with food banks that serve their shared communities.
