Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have undoubtedly been two of the most popular hosts for the annual Golden Globe Awards show in many years. Hopes are high that they will leave audiences laughing again this year.
The Golden Globes is one of the most anticipated awards shows of the year and a little more loosey-goosey than the Oscars, probably because of the round tables and free-flowing booze.
Tina and Amy recently told Entertainment Weekly that they would never want to host the Academy Awards. According to them, even though it's a lot of the same people, they are really nervous that night and too much pressure for hosts.
When asked during the same interview what audiences could expect from the funny duo on Sunday, Fey replied, "No singing, but a lot dancing." Poehler added, "A lot of dancing, but with no music."
Poehler also jokingly said they were going to encourage winners to "go real long."
Other favorite Globe hosts in the past have included Bob Hope, Johnny Carson and Billy Crystal.
The 71st Annual Global Globe Awards show will air Jan. 12 on NBC. Before then, check out this photo gallery of the nominees.
