Four national TV games for Arizona Football
TUCSON (Arizona Athletics) Television selections for the start of select games within the 2014 football season were announced on Thursday by the Pac-12 Conference in conjunction with its television partners.
Of the five games included in the announcement, Arizona football will be playing at least four games on national television this season.
The Wildcats' season opener hosting UNLV will be played on Fri., Aug. 29 at Arizona Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. MST/PT on ESPN. Arizona's game at UTSA will be played on Thurs., Sept. 4, at the Alamodome. Game time is set for 5 p.m. MST/7 p.m. CT on FOX Sports 1. Arizona hosts Nevada on Sat., Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. MST/PT. The game will air on Pac-12 Networks.
On Thurs., Oct. 2, the Wildcats will play at Oregon. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MST/PT on ESPN. The Wildcats host the Sun Devils for the annual Territorial Cup on Fri., Nov. 28. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. MST (local) on FOX.
In-season 12- and six-day football television selections are scheduled to begin on Mon., Sept. 8 for the games scheduled for Sat., Sept. 20.
Arizona has posted back-to-back 8-5 campaigns and postseason victories in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl and the AdvoCare V100 Bowls in 2012 and 2013. In Rich Rodriguez's third season at the helm of the program, the Wildcats return 44 letterwinners from 2013 and are led by a class of 19 seniors in 2014.
