Students evacuated during restroom fire
Catalina Magnet School
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Students at Catalina Magnet High School were briefly evacuated Thursday after a small fire broke out in a restroom.
Cara Rene with the Tucson Unified School District tells KGUN9 that the students were taken to the gym while crews with Tucson Fire put out the fire.
The school, located at 3645 E. Pima St. was deemed safe and students have returned to class.
Students were given water during the incident.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
