TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Two Tucson High School students are facing assault charges from a fight that broke out in a classroom this morning.
9 On Your Side obtained cell phone video of the fight captured by a classmate on cell phone video.
Tucson Police tell 9 On Your Side two sisters, ages 19 and 16, assaulted an 18-year-old classmate as she started taking a math test.
A teacher and other students, as seen in the video, got caught in the middle as they tried to break up the fight.
Police cited and released the sisters. They each face one count of assault, Sgt. Chris Widmer said.
TUSD officials say they are still investigating. Disciplinary action is pending for all students involved, including the student who shot this cell phone video.
