South Tucson Police investigating shooting
SOUTH TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - South Tucson Police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Lt. Jeff Inorio with South Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that police responded to an area near 29th Street and 6th Avenue at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday after reports of shots fired.
When police arrived, they found a man in his 30's suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and others on scene. Inorio says witnesses told police several people fled the scene after the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
