By Ina Ronquillo. CREATED Sep 17, 2013

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police are asking for help from the public in locating a bank robbery suspect.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that on September 13, officers responded to reports of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo inside the Fry's Food Store located at 2480 North Swan Road.

When officers arrived on scene, the suspect had fled the store prior to their arrival and no one was hurt during the incident, said Widmer.

Detectives responded and learned the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money and threatening harm, said Widmer. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the store.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5'10 inches tall, 155 pounds with blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
