TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)-- If you're planning your dream vacation, how about heading to sunny Spain to take part in the world's biggest food fight?
Every year, thousands of people spill into Valencia, Spain for the Tomatina Festival. Each August, several trucks bring in tons of over-ripe tomatoes. This year, there were around 125 tons of tomatoes that the 22,000 participants tossed around.
Water canons signal the start of the tomato fight. People stomp, throw, bathe and even eat the tomatoes. The week-long festival also takes place in other parts of Spain.
