TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It's Sneeze Season across Tucson, the warmer temperatures have brought out the pollen in full force.
About 10 to 20 percent of us suffer with allergy problems and now is the time to react to avoid being even more miserable.
Allergy doctors say common symptoms of allergy include sneezing, itchy eyes, itchy nose and itchy throat. If you have body aches and pains and are running a fever you may be struggling with a cold instead of allergies.
Doctors say if you know you have allergy problems, pre-emptive use of allergy pills and some of the new over the counter nasal steroid sprays can help control symptoms.
If you still aren't getting relief, you may need to see an allergy doctor and consider long-term allergy shots.
The allergy season is on its regular track this year and relief may not come until our temperatures climb into the 100 degree range and plants have finished pollinating.
