TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Flu season has come to The University of Arizona.
There have now been 15 reported cases of Influenza, and of those, 14 are the more serious H1N1 strain.
The last three weeks have seen a major jump in cases all over Pima County. This is something the Director of Health Promotion and Prevention said should be taken seriously on campus.
"H1N1 around the state across the county has been effecting younger people healthier people, so it's a concern," said David Salafsky, Director of Health Promotion and Prevention.
However, it's not too late to beat the flu. Shots are still available and effective against getting sick.
Other great methods of prevention include washing your hands often and covering your mouth when you cough.
