Flu shots for over-65 residents at Tucson event
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Health Department will be offering flu shots for residents over the age of 65 at their Flu + You event on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.
The vaccines, which are also sponsored by the Pima Council on Aging and the National Council on Aging, are a covered Medicare Part B benefit and require no copay. In order to receive a flu shot, residents must bring a Medicare ID card or applicable insurance card to the event, according to the Pima County Health Department.
