TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - After the Tucson City Council voted to support Tucson as an Immigrant Welcoming City in August, a new online resource center has been launched to help immigrants in the community.
Michael Graham with the City of Tucson tells KGUN9 that the online directory consolidates resources and services that are available to immigrants from all backgrounds in one place.
The site includes links to child care, civic engagement, consumer services, educational institutions, government agencies, health services and recreation.
Mayor Jonathan Rothschild said in a press release that "Tucson is a city with roots in many cultures. That diversity adds to our strength and it helps us not fear change even as we celebrate traditions."
