Cats take on Utah in Sin City

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - As good as the Arizona basketball team was in the regular season, they'll need to be even better to win the NCAA tournament this year. But before they get to the big dance, they have to worry about the PAC 12 tournament first.

That worry starts today in Las Vegas against Utah.
The Utes match up well against Arizona, largely because of their front court and three different centers who share an equal amount of playing time.
The Cats finished the regular season as the best defensive team in the country from an efficiency standpoint, limiting opponents to 39 percent shooting from the field and 33 percent from beyond the arc.
Still, coach Sean Miller is aware Utah is coming to play. All told, despite Arizona's success against the Utes this year, it's going to take a strong effort this afternoon in order for The Cats to advance.
Tip off is set for 12 p.m. at the MGM Grand arena in Las Vegas.
