Bullhead City police chief to retire in December
BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - The police chief in Bullhead City plans to retire in early December after 12 years on the job.
Rodney Head's last day on the job will be on Dec. 6.
Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter announced Head's upcoming retirement during a news conference Tuesday.
Head has served the citizens of Bullhead City and Mohave County for 36 years.
He was one of the founding members of the Bullhead City Police Department in 1985.
Cotter says Deputy Chief Brian Williamson will take over as police chief of the northwestern Arizona city.
