TUCSON (KGUN 9-TV) - A midtown church will fill Tourney Park next Saturday with more than 17,000 Easter eggs to celebrate a decade of inviting the public to share in its Easter festivities.

With the support of Pima County Supervisors Chairman Ramon Valadez, the S.O.B.E.R. Project, a faith-based program and church geared toward those in recovery, invites the community on Saturday, March 30, to the annual hunt for candy-filled eggs.

Those families with no experience with addiction are also welcome to attend the event or services.

Volunteers willing to come clean up the park beforehand to make sure it's safe for kids and free of litter are asked to come to Tourney Park, 4500 E. Eastland St., at 9:30 a.m. The Easter egg hunt will run from 10 a.m. until noon.

The park is accessible from Swan Road and Eastland Street.
