Rain or shine, it’s time to get down and dirty ladies.
Over 500 women of all ages and athletic abilities are registered to participate in the muddy festivities.
The Dirty Girl Mud Run partnered with The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) encourages women to get out of their comfort zone while getting some serious exercise in an empowering environment.
Ladies will have to tackle 10 obstacles during the mud run including the “Utopian Tubes” tunnel crawl and the “PMS, Pretty Dirty Stuff.”
Participants are encouraged to run in teams and dress for the part – crazy costumes suitable for mud.
NBCF is in hopes to raise over $500,000 in support.
Cancer survivors run for free.
Saturday March 2nd, the first wave of runners begin at 8 am and the last run at 4 pm.
The slogan for this Dirty Girl Mud Run: “What a delightfully dirty day.”
Old Tucson Studios is located at 201 S. Kinney Rd, 85735.
