TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Weeks ago a 9OYS viewer caught video on his home surveillance of two brazen bandits breaking into his home in broad daylight.

Since then we've been working with the sheriff's office and you our viewers to get these thugs off the street.
Tuesday it looked like that had happened.
31-year-old Christina Marie Paulson, the woman authorities say was in the video, was arrested charged with second degree burglary, stealing a car and writing a bad check.
Later that night, she went before a judge, only to be released on her own recognizance.
Several weeks after his home targeted, his sense of safety shattered, Greg Smith saw it as a glimmer of hope.
"I'm happy that the sheriffs seemed to have identified the people that committed the crime," he said.
One of them 33 year-old Simon Peter Lopez, seen on Smith's own home security footage.
Last week authorities hauled him in and charged him with burglary.  This is all thanks to the instincts of an alert 9OYS viewer.
"Crimes of opportunity are still happening," said Smith.
He called the progress comforting, but said it was not enough.
"I'll be very happy and feel comforted if our case comes to a close," he said.
Deputies say that worry can be put to rest, knowing the second and final suspect in this case is behind bars.
31 year-old Christina Marie Paulson appeared in video court Tuesday, charged with 2nd degree burglary, theft of a mode of transportation, and a list of lesser charges.
Still, the judge released her to pretrial services.
A twist that only emphasizes that sense of heightened security felt by Smith and his family.
"We are certain that that alarm is on even if we're gone only five minutes.  I think it's very easy for a homeowner to get in the habit of going 'oh I'm just going for milk.' And as we know from the timeline of my house, they were in and out in five minutes."
Paulson is due in court on December 24th to face the burglary charge.  Meantime, she is ordered to have no contact with the Smiths, and stay away from their home.
