TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Judy Glore has returned home to her ranch, "The Heart of Tucson", where rescued horses are cared for and adopted out.

Glore has been undergoing treatment for lung cancer for the past couple of weeks.

During that time, one of the rescued horses is suffering from the severely painful hoof ailment laminitis. He is the son of famed race horse Barbaro.

Professional dancer and choreographer Martita Goshen has been closely following this story from her home in New York.

As founder of "Earthworks" Martita uses dance to promote ecological awareness.

Martita says she knew she had to come out to Tucson to do what she could to help aid the healing of the horse and his owner.  So she dances, and with her dance she sends a message of hope.
"Friends of Glore" will be held on Sunday, November 25th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  You can reach them at (520) 490-7236.
