TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson firefighters battled flames from a midtown shed fire that was intentionally set.

Firefighters responded near the 100 block of east Blacklidge Road just before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday after a call came in to report that a shed was on fire and spreading to a neighbor's residence, according to Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department.

Once on scene, crews learned that a shed was burning and that flames were threatening a neighboring shed next door.

Baker tells KGUN9 that the fire was under control in just five minutes and that the residence was vacant.

Baker also said the fire was an act of arson.
