TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A large area of storms will continue Northward and become widespread across Southern Arizona all day Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a flood warning that remains in effect until 10:15 p.m. for Southwestern Pinal and North Central Pima Counties.

The Tohono O'odham dispatch reported that Route 15 near north Komelik had been closed. The road was passable as of 3:0 p.m., but continued expected rises in the Santa Rosa Wash will keep the road closed through at least this evening.

Expect widespread showers and storms across the rest of the region through Wednesday afternoon.
